The hermit is a subtle combatant traditional more in touch with nature than humanity. As their comprehension of nature increases they can take the path of the Bandit or the Seer.
The path of the Bandit focuses primarily on your ability to learn from your enemies, hunt and survive while attacking from range with a bow or other ranged weapon. This path allows you to become either an Assassin or a Berserker. The Assassin is the master of single target damage and a trained killer both up close and from range. The Berserker truly embraces the chaos of nature and through the guidance of the wild they may attack multiple enemies at once and mitigate damage to themselves.
The path of the Seer brings one closer to the nature of the universe itself. Through this comprehension, nature begins to help the Seer by harming its enemies and preventing them from harming it. This path allows you to become either an Oracle or a Shaman. The oracle truly embraces its understanding of the nature of man and the world around it to predict developments before they happen and manipulate the world around them. Their ability to change the structure of combat is extremely beneficial. The Shaman is a true creature of nature, developing the ability to summon the creatures and spirits of the wilderness and bend the natural world to its will.
